Perth Upmarket is WA’s biggest design market, attracting over 180 local creators and up to 10,000 visitors, so it’s no surprise that they have had to cancel the event which was due to take place on Saturday 22 March.
But all hope is not lost—they’ve decided to hold a virtual marketplace instead. So now you can practice social distancing while supporting the people who need us most.
The market will be running all weekend from 9am on Saturday morning until 9pm on Sunday night and will feature special offers, free postage and new products from the vendors who range from fashion and jewellery designers to gourmet food producers and artists.
There are a whole bunch of beautiful suppliers with homemade soaps and sanitisers, so you can get your hands on those finally, but please, please, please, only buy what you need!
This is the first time in the 12 years since they started operating that the markets will not run as planned, so do what you can and spend a little or a lot if you can afford it.
