Perth, you do good food, there’s no doubt about it. But sometimes everything on the menu at our fave Perth restaurants just looks so dang good that we don’t know what to order. How are you meant to decide? And what if the person next to you orders something better?
It turns out there’s a simple solution. Feed me menus. You get to try all the good stuff and #orderenvy is a thing of the past.
Here are 10 of Perth’s best feed me menus.
Sweetwater Rooftop Bar
The only way to do dinner at Sweetwater is with a big group of friends and the chef’s menu. For $55 a head (or $50 if you don’t want dessert—but trust us, you do) you’ll get more food than you know what to do with. The crew here are pretty flexible and you’re welcome to request a few dishes you like the sound of, then they’ll throw in a few of their faves too. Winning.
El Publico’s feed me menu is one of the best. Start your night with some chile popcorn, street corn and all of the guacamole before moving on to a taco or two. Just try and save room for the Carbon de Mercado San Juan—that’s hot grilled meat FYI. With pork belly, chorizo, chicken and steak accompanied by corn tortillas and all the right salsas, sauces and sides, this is DIY dinner done right.
You already know that everything on the menu at Bivouac is absolutely delicious, so why not handball the responsibility of deciding to the crew here and let them surprise you. You'll get a selection of small plates and bigger plates, and with dishes like fried halloumi, goat shoulder and the some of the best fried potatoes in Perth, you really can't go wrong.
A hidden gem in Shenton Park, Kiri do some of the best Japenese food in Perth. The take-away menu is pretty great, but if you’re looking for something special head to the restaurant next door and get the Kaiseki menu. You’ll get ten courses of Japanese deliciousness, plus it’s BYO. Just remember you need to book a day in advance for this one.
The Maa Long Chim Menu is all about family style feasting and it’s freaking delicious. For $68 you’ll get eight courses ranging from snacks to mains and desserts. The star of the show is Long Chim's whole deep fried fish but it’s all amazing so make sure you save room for dessert.
The Flour Factory
The Flour Factory do seriously good dinner, so head in with a bunch of friends and just let the chef decide on your menu for the night. At $55 a head, you’ll get charcuterie, an array of entrees and main and dessert. Grab an Aperol spritz or an espresso martini and you’re set for the night.
The il Capo menu at Lalla Rookh is boss. No, it literally means the boss and they’re not wrong. Get six courses to share, all chosen by the chef based on their favourite and the freshest dishes of the day. You really can’t go wrong with that.
Lulu La Delizia
Lalla Rookh’s former head chef Joel Valvasori has just opened Lulu La Delizia in Subiaco and he has brought the feed me menu with him. It’s a pretty similar concept with six dishes chosen by the chef, and it’s just as amazing here! Expect some of the freshest pasta you’ve ever eaten and super authentic Italian eats.
Head to The Mantle and let Don Tapa feed you and your mates for less than $50 a head! The servings are super generous and the Argentinian food is amazing so there’s not a chance you’ll be disappointed. You’ll also want to grab a cocktail from Alter Ego next door to round out the night.
At Public House, $65 will get you eight courses of amazing eats plus a beer, wine or sangria. With dishes like guac, chimichurri lamb, ceviche and popcorn chicken, we think you’ll be pleased as punch with this feed me menu.
