COMO The Treasury’s Executive Chef Jed Gerrard is joining forces with Italy’s Roberto Dal Seno, Executive Chef at Falisia Resort in Italy to create a drool worthy Italian-inspired dinner series, Sapori D'Italia, at one of Perth’s most stunning restaurants, Wildflower, to celebrate Festival Italia which kicks off on 10 September.
While Italian is not usually on the menu at Wildflower, this dinner series, running on Thursday 8 September and Tuesday 13 September, will also feature a smattering of native West Australian ingredients and a focus on dishes where the fresh, local produce speaks for itself.
With dishes like carpaccio of Fremantle tuna paired with finger lime, panna cotta with wattle seed and semifreddo with Wildflower’s own rooftop honey and desert limes, all matched with West Australian and Italian wines, we think it’s going to be pretty special.
But the best part is the fact that $10 from each ticket will be donated to the Italian Red Cross to aid relief efforts in support of the victims of the Umbria earthquake. There will also be an Italian wine auction at the final dinner with all proceeds going to aid the campaign.
