Ritz Carlton Spa Perth

Towering over the banks of the Swan River at Elizabeth Quay, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel might be getting all of the buzz right now but there’s a little sanctuary inside that you’re not going to want to miss.

Just like the rest of the hotel—with its meticulously considered design—the spa has luxury and sophistication stamped all over it and it’s fair to say you’re in for a relaxing ride the moment you step inside.

Ritz Carlton Spa Perth

A stunning and opulent sanctuary of calm, it’s clear that great care has been taken in designing this spa. Fitted with four treatment rooms, saunas, outdoor heated vitality pools (with massage jets) and a state-of-the art fitness centre and yoga studio, the spa really focusses on wellness as a whole and each guest is encouraged to stay and use all of the facilities before or after their treatment.

Walking in after a busy day, I was led through to one of the gorgeous rooms by my therapist for the Luminous Elements journey. The three-hour treatment started with a bespoke anti-ageing facial, followed by a signature massage using rose-quartz crystals and pressure point therapy, intuitive stretching, lymphatic breathing and LaGaia aromatherapy oils. It was in a word: blissful.

Therapies aside, it’s the little things which really make a difference at this spa. Each guest begins their journey with a handmade ceramic cup filled with the spa’s fragrant signature tea before being asked to choose the scent they would like featured throughout their treatment. A bespoke foot bath commences each treatment and it’s the only spa in WA to exclusively work with national and international skincare brands, LaGaia Unedited and Biologique Recherche.

If any of your new year’s resolutions are about self-care, get yourself booked in here and start off 2020 in the best way possible.

Once you've ticked this one off, check out the rest of Perth's best facials.
