The ultimate foodie market is back for its 20th year, and we’re gladly accepting that glorious one-way ticket to a food coma. Yep, it’s time to stuff ourselves silly with allllll the noods, juicy bao and fluffy Asian-inspired donuts.

You better believe these legends are celebrating 20 years of deliciousness with just that, a whole lotta’ deliciousness. With over 40 stalls, this buzzing lantern-clad garden precinct can get a little overwhelming, which is where we come in.

Gone are the nights spent wandering aimlessly through Hyde Park with absolutely no idea what you should be munching and slurping on.

Here are our top picks for Good Food’s Night Noodle Markets.

The Shaved-Iced ‘Allo Allo’ At Gelato Messina

We’re screaming for ice cream because Messina’s Filipino inspired menu at the Noodle Markets is sounding worth the brain freeze. Their epic Jeepney food truck is whipping up Southeast Asian desserts and we’re living for the ‘allo allo’, their creative take on the traditional hallo hallo. We’re talking leche flan with caramel-flavoured shaved ice, syrup and sauce, all topped with toasted milk crumb and dulce de leche gelato.

Mi Goreng Donuts At Donut Papi

We’re going a little (do)nuts in anticipation of Donut Papi’s first appearance this year. Expect a unique twist on our old time favourite midnight snack, IndoMie mi goreng. Yep, these legends are serving up a deep-fried doughnut version of Mie goreng and it’s available in Original, Chicken Satay, and Beef BBQ

Korean BBQ Tacos At POKLOL

Let’s ‘taco’bout why everyone is going crazy over POKLOL. We think it may have something to do with their ridonkulous Korean BBQ tacos. Get around your choice of bulgogi beef, chilli chicken and chilli pork tacos with pickled carrots, kimchi slaw, cucumbers, and shallots topped with a secret pokky sauce

KFC Cheese 'Puffles’ At Puffle

If you hadn’t already thought about donning your fave stretchy pants, you’re going to want to now. Puffle is serving up Korean Fried Chicken stuffed inside their signature cheese puffle (basically bubble wrap made out of savoury batter, then folded into a sconce with some tasty fillings) topped with Japanese mayo and shallots. Every day we’re puffling.

Truffle Wagyu Beef Japa-dawg At Mr Miyagi

Mr Miyagi, aka the trendy Melbs joint with a well-earned cult following is serving up its ridiculously tasty Japanese fusion hot dogs and hot-diggity-dawg we’re keen. Get your mouth around the panko crumbed Wagyu beef-cheek (5+ score), with Burgundy onion jam, potato puree, black truffle mayo in a soft bao roll.

Phat Fries At Chur Burger

The folks at Chur Burger are giving all new meaning to the term ‘loaded fries’. Think hand cut fries packed with salt and pepper pork belly, chili black bean mayo and pork floss.

Strawberry Watermelon Cake At Black Star Pastry

It’s been coined the Beyonce of Instagram desserts, this photogenic little morsel is as tasty as it is gram-worthy. This gem from Black Star Pastry is made up of two layers of almond dacquoise, rose- scented cream, watermelon, strawberries, pistachios and dried rose petals.

Tom Yum Tater Tots At Rou Jia Mo

You need to get a side of these babies at this Chinese meat sandwich hotspot. Think your childhood favourite deep-fried potato gems with tom yum mayo, chilli, coriander and lime. You’re welcome.

The Pho-In-A-Cup At Grumpy G’s

This is the perfect serving of slurpalicious rice noodles immersed in beef broth with brisket and sliced beef balls OR chicken broth with slices of juicy chicken fillet, served with fresh basil, chilli, bean sprouts. Pho-real, get around it.

Paella Malay At Paella Del Mar

It’s a Malaysian take on our fave Valencian rice dish and we’re so down for it. Think 16hr Slow cooked beef rendang with coconut, lemongrass, lime leaves and brown rice topped with toasted coconut.

Ginger And Lemon Kombucha At Amplify Kombucha

Let’s be real, there will be no shortage of feasting at these ridiculously tasty markets, so Amplify Kombucha is here to give you the strength to keep on inducing that food coma. Get around this fizzy, zesty tea drink which is pumped with all the good bacteria to keep your tum going throughout this evening of indulgence.
