Fondly remembered as the saccharine highlight of 2017, Brisbane’s inaugural Ice Cream Festival brought together purveyors of the finest gelati, popsicles, sundaes and cones under one convenient roof for one glorious day. If you were one of the lucky lickers who managed to nab a ticket, you’ll remember the luxurious high of drifting from stall to stall on a moveable feast where every course is dessert. If you missed out, luck is on your side because this incredible event is coming back this March and looks as if it’s going to be even better!
Just like last year, we’re expecting some brilliant and fantastical creations, and word has it there are some seriously hot items on the menu like pistachio gelato cannoli, Golden Gaytime bao, and soft-serve inspired by your favourite binge-watch, Stranger Things (which I intend to buy in a pack of eleven).
The run of service will emulate last year’s structure, with three two-hour sessions in which to get your fill of the frosty goodness, beginning at either 11am, 1pm, or 3pm. Tickets go for the affordable price of absolutely free, but registration is crucial so book your spot here ASAP.
In the meantime, make sure you keep an eye on their events page for more details and lickteases as they roll out.
