North Quay, the CBD spot with arguably the best river views and prime city access is not exactly renowned for its culinary attributes in Brisbane. We’d go as far to say it’s pretty boring, right? If you answered yes to that question you are completely wrong, and here’s why.
In case you’re not up to speed on the comings and goings of Brisbane’s seemingly endless expansions of late, the $1 billion development, Brisbane Quarter has just breathed some much-needed life into this side of town.
This jaw-dropping mixed-use development comprises of the brand new 5-star hotel juggernaut that is W Brisbane, plus a residential and commercial tower (hello, shopping destination!), but what we’re most excited about is the amazing foodie precinct that’s about to swing open its doors.
Date nights are about to get a lot fancier around here thanks to big names like Persone (from the Gambaro crew), Heritij (helmed by the Michelin-starred chef Manjunath Mural, no biggie) alongside Byron Bay icons, Three Blue Ducks, not to mention brand new Brisbane bars Living Room and WET Deck, perfect for bending the elbow at.
If a workday or weekend lunch is on the cards, then NYC Bagel, Sandwich Chefs and The Simple Life Cafe well and truly have you covered.
With more being added to the line-up and the grand opening to be announced soon, click here to keep up to date with everything going on at Brisbane Quarter.
