School and work may be cancelled, but celebrating Easter isn’t. Just because the world has come to a standstill doesn’t mean we can forget about the Easter long weekend, chocolate bunnies and Good Friday dinner, in fact, we need all these things more than ever.
Who can honestly put their hand up and say they’ve thought about what food they’re going to make for Good Friday dinner? No, neither have we, so we were so pumped when we heard One Fish Two Fish were reopening just for the purpose of supplying us lucky humans with copious amounts of seafood and wine for our Good Friday meals.
Whether you’ve got your heart set on the Sydney rock oysters, that can be ordered by the dozen or half-dozen ($4 each), or the peeled Queensland tiger prawns ($34 per half-kilo) that come served with sriracha and lime aioli, One Fish Two Fish can and will satisfy your seafood needs. Just like the saying goes, we’re on a strictly seafood diet—we see good food and we eat it.
Want to really get into the long weekend spirit? Order a bottle of wine, or a few, to go with your fresh oysters and tiger prawns. They’ll be offering bottles of Buoy Oh Bouy prosecco, Babo pinot grigio and Bouchard Aîné & Fils rosé for $35 with any order. There’s no better way to spend a long weekend than a little tipsy.
If this sounds like the perfect Good Friday meal for you, get in quick because the deadline for the Great Friday seafood and wine is 9pm on Tuesday 7 April. To order, head to the One Fish Two Fish website. Pick-up will be on Thursday 9 April and there are delivery options available if you really can’t risk leaving the house.
