Making its home in the shell of former Brisbane Japanese institution, Little Tokyo, new Chinese restaurant and wine bar Happy Boy has opened for business today in Spring Hill.
Sitting alongside creative office share-space, Little Tokyo Two, Happy Boy looks set to appease the hungry Spring Hill hordes with authentic, regional Chinese cuisine, and a boutique wine and beer offering.
Unlike your typical Chinese joint, Happy Boy is steering clear of Westernised food and BYO-grog attitude. Both a restaurant and a bar, Happy Boy boasts a great beer selection as well as spirits. A good wine is a rare beast in most Chinese restaurants, so we predict big things for this new Brisbane eatery.
Happy Boy is now open for dinner, with plans to launch lunch and breakfast service shortly.
