Newstead really is the buzzing suburb of late, with new bars and restaurants popping up faster than you can clink your cocktail glasses together. But recently, it has really amped up the neighbourhood dining scene with the arrival of late night dining haunt, Mrs Brown's Bar & Kitchen—and it's downright beautiful!
Channeling a laid back atmos, wide window bays and an eclectic (but elegant) menu of share plates, crowd faves and Asian-inspired eats, Mrs Brown's is a charming experience—and just what Newstead was missing. With a keen focus on bringing together locals for home-style feasting and drinks, Head Chef Adam Marino (just from Brisbane icon, Longtime, no biggie) brings a level of creativity and flair that is suited to some of the best restaurants in Brisbane.
Everything from lamb pancakes, fried cauliflower tossed with Korean spices, to slow-cooked lamb shoulder and smashed roast potatoes. Drool.
With a vast selection of impressive wines, frosty tap beers and top-shelf spirits you will really start to make Mrs Brown's your second home—we'll meet you there, perched at the marble bar, Negroni in hand. Food in face...
