Music On A Monday | Catch Franz Ferdinand in Intimate Brisbane Show

After only two years in existence, Harvest has had to cancel just months out from its third rendition due to poor ticket sales. This has left the bands on the bill the choice of either playing their own headline shows or not coming at all.

Thankfully for us, Franz Ferdinand (and a few other bands) have chosen the former. This now puts them in a unique situation: instead of headlining an outdoor festival of 10,000 to 20,000 people, they are now headlining a 1,000-person, intimate club show.

Ferdinand are touring in support of their solid new album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions. Latest single Evil Eye is the highlight here, but be careful watching the film clip if gore makes you queasy—the video, directed by Diane Martel (who's responsible for Blurred Lines), contains some gruesome and truly horrifying effects. Maybe watch the Live on Letterman video if you have a light stomach.

This is a rare chance to see such a huge band play such an intimate show, and will surely sell out, so be quick or miss out!
