Cold-pressed juice is the hot new health elixir to swill (and it tastes pretty darn great, too) and now you can get your fix in Newstead, with the arrival of organic cold-pressed juice bar and café, Press'd

Tucked into the Commercial Road Antiques Centre, Press'd has an impressive and creative cold-pressed juice menu, with three levels of juice hardcore-ness to choose from, as well as smoothies, and Toby's Estate coffee.

Cold-pressed juice — a juicing method that maintains more of the fruits and vegetables goodness than traditional juicing, providing up to five times more nutrients — has been growing in popularity of late, and Brisbane's cold-pressed juice scene looks set to boom, with Press'd waving the flag in the New Farm/Newstead burbs.

The juices at Press'd range from easy drinking concoctions such as the 4005 Breeze, a mix of apple, kale, and cucumber (all organic, of course) to fuller flavoured combos for the more adventurous, like The Wignell juice, with organic beetroot, organic cucumber, organic kale, organic celery, and rhubarb.

A surprising favourite is The Cool Down, made with organic avocado, organic apples, pineapple, cucumber, and lime. And if you want to go off menu, the friendly gang at Press'd also allow you can make your own juice combinations.

The small sized juices at Press'd come in glass bottles, which are frankly adorable, that you can return for a $1 credit towards your next cold-pressed juice.

As well as the liquid nourishment on offer, Press'd have a cabinet stocked with organic lunch options, including salads, baked goods, and sweet treats.
