Whether you’ve got a passion for pastries or you’re bonkers for brownies, walking into a bakery is one of life’s greatest treasures. The smell of freshly baked bread wafts out onto the street and lures you in, leading you to a cabinet full of tasty treats fresh out of the oven. As essential as trips to the bakery are, iso has put a bit of a damper on the experience, forcing us to go on without our morning croissants on the way to work.
Thankfully, the legends behind Pawpaw Cafe have come to our rescue. They’ve hooked up with the team at SPROUT, our favourite artisan bakery, to bring Brisbane the best baked goods in town from their pop-up in Woolloongabba.
Every Saturday and Sunday from 7am, head on down to grab yourself one of SPROUT’s famous almond croissants, or check out one of the many other baked goods from the Pawpaw team on offer. Choose from herb and feta scrolls, cream donuts and even crumpets to give your work day the boost it needs to get you through to 5pm.
They'll have vegan and gluten free options, as well as access to their cooked breakfast menu if you’re craving a cheeky eggs benny.
Be sure to get there early—they have limited stock that’s practically guaranteed to sell out. And with croissants that good, you don’t want to be the one going home empty handed.
