Get excited brunch lovers, a new cafe has popped up on Brisbane’s east side and it’s got a menu that will have you coming back for more every weekend. Landing at the Camp Hill Marketplace (which just keeps getting tastier), Ralph & Co is the spot to go and take a seat in the garden-inspired interiors and sip a perfectly brewed coffee over a hearty breakfast. With seating inside and out, and a menu that stretches from morning until night, it’s got the kind of cosy, neighbourhood vibe we know you’ll love, because who doesn’t?
If you’re stopping by for something off the all-day breakfast menu, we highly recommend kicking off your day with the lemon ricotta hotcakes, a plate of sweet heaven which comes topped with lemon meringue and lemon curd. Sweet tooths will also want to sample the sourdough crumpet with caramelised apple and cinnamon mascarpone, but if you’re looking for something on the savoury side, order up the market greens bruschetta with spiced pumpkin hummus, or just a classic eggs benny or big breakfast.
We simply cannot skip over the lunch options—they are seriously killer. Wrap the blue swimmer crab spaghetti around your fork for a taste of the sea, or for the burger lovers, the buttermilk chicken burger with good ol’ American cheese is quite the handful.
This little location is more than a place to grab a bite to eat though, it’s also a greengrocer where you can pick up a couple treats after your meal. Yep, it’s stocked up with all the gourmet goodies you could possibly dream of, from local deli goods to Lick! ice cream. Trust us, you won’t be able to walk out empty handed.
This brunch spot just keeps on giving though, because by night it transforms into a groovy tapas and wine bar. Head in of an evening Thursday to Sunday and you’ll be treated to some tasty share plates and whatever drink you fancy. We reckon the jug of Pimms is a go, mixed with loads of summery fruits and a juicy strawberry on the rim. There’s a decent selection of wine, beer and cocktails too—perfect for a chilled Sunday afternoon.
You’re going to want to book in advance so make sure you give Ralph & Co a call or shoot them an email to secure a table. Find out everything you need to know here.
