Watch out Melbs; Brisbane’s on a path for laneway supremacy (and we’re only half joking, too). In case you don’t venture along James Street in the Valley on the regs (really, who are you?!), there’s quite a lot happening.
Works on The Calile—a stunning new boutique hotel and retail precinct set to open this spring—are really starting to come together, however, it’s the latest news from team Calile that have got us all razzed up.
Not content with giving us, the people of Brisbane, a brand new, architecturally designed precinct for us to swoon over they thought we’d quite like another cheeky laneway. And, er, they’d be right!
Set to connect Wandoo St to James, via The Calile (and adjacent to Pottery Barn), Ada Lane is poised to become Fortitude Valley’s next iconic dining and lifestyle laneway precinct.
Five new bars and dining haunts will join the dozen high end design and fashion brands set to also call Ada Laneway and The Calile project home.
Ada Lane is due for completion in late 2018, after The Calile opens in the spring.
It goes without saying, but we’ll keep you posted on any and all updates (because we’re as excited as you are).
