Here’s The Scoop On The New Perth Ice Cream Shop You Need To Know About

By Reyam Ghanim - 31 Oct 2018

The ice cream gods have answered our prayers and will be bringing Billy Van Creamy, the much loved craft ice cream joint from the streets of Melbourne, to Northbridge next week—just in time to keep us cool as the weather heats up.

Brothers Alex and Mitch Wells actually grew up in good ol’ Perth before moving to Melbourne a few years ago, but now they’re back on the west coast to launch Billy Van Creamy in their hometown.

Creating incred flavours by hand and using only the best ingredients, it’s no surprise that their original ice cream truck was a such a massive success that they had turned into a permanent shop in Fitzroy before too long and are already expanding.

Opening in the spot that used to be Daphne on William Street in Northbridge, we definitely recommend heading down to check it out on opening weekend. You’ll find something for everyone, even your vegan mate.

So tell ya friends, tell ya family—they’ll be serving up FREE scoops from 5 to 7pm next Friday and word on the streets is they’re creating special flavours for the Perth crowd.

After work drinks? No thanks. You’ll find us at the front of the line drooling over these delectable goodies.
