Fringe World is setting sail in 2020 with the first ever show popping up on a cruise ship.
For one night only, Fringe goers will be treated to incredible feats of cabaret on the British Vasco da Gama cruise ship which will be docked in Fremantle on 1 February.
Not only will punters get free reign of the ship and an opportunity to explore the many restaurants and bars on board, they’ll also get to spend the night.
Festival Director Amber Hasler said, “Guests can look forward to experiencing the indulgent features of this warm, stylish ship and enjoy Fringe performances including a highlight cabaret act and talented roaming performers.”
So if you’ve always been intrigued by the world of cruising but not sure it’s for you, this is a great opportunity to cop a feel for what it’s all about.
And if you’re pretty sure you’ll like it, you may just want to sign up for the new seven-night Boutique Gin and Culinary Cruise that departs Adelaide and lands in Fremantle. From gin tasting with some of the best Australian distillers (Giniversity and Adelaide Gin) to culinary shore excursions and cooking classes, the cruise is the first of its kind.
Tickets for Fringe World 2020 go on sale in October, but you can check availability for Fringe on the Water right now.
