Heads Up | Perth Just Got An ATM That Dispenses Treats

You know it’s gonna be a good week when news like this drops on Monday.

To celebrate their schmancy redevelopment, the guys at the new-look QV1 Plaza are installing a special ATM that’ll be dispensing sweet treats.

The machine’s official name is Harry (a nod to architect Harry Seidler who designed the QV1 tower). Here’s how it’s gonna work: at any given time or day over the coming weeks, Harry will start vending a range of FREE food, vouchers and QV1 products.

There’s no deposit involved. You don’t need a bank card. The way to get your free doughnuts, desserts and other sugary goodness is to enter a special PIN code, which you can get by signing up to the QV1 website (updates and codes will also be released on FB and Instagram).

“Each time Harry is in action, it’ll be a surprise as to what will be dispensed,” says QV1 GM Paul Teraci. “For example, on one day Mary Street Bakery may give away signature donuts... and when Zensaki opens, it may be sushi. Numbers will be limited and the ATM will only open for a limited time, so people will have to get in quick!”

You heard the man. Get in quick. Harry the ATM will be opening on Friday 22 June (AKA this week).
