A self-confessed nation of food lovers (did someone say BBQ?), not much gets between us and a good feed—except sometimes, the price. If we’re being honest, we’d splash out on delicious dining on the regs, if it wasn’t for that big fat bill at the end of every meal.
Giving us food fanatics a chance to check out our fave dining haunts without the heart attack-inducing credit card bill, Dimmi has teamed up with our favourite restaurants in Dimmi’s Restaurant Week this March, enticing us off our couches and getting us, quite literally, back on the dinner horse!
From the 14th-31st March, book a table at any participating restaurant, and you’ll receive a whopping 50% of your food bill! Quite literally picking up half of the cheque, enjoy a whole host of dining experiences at some of the best restaurants in Perth. We’ll never have to cook again!
To whet the appetite and tickle the tastebuds, here are our picks of the bunch in Perth.
Must Wine Bar
Must Wine Bar is an A+ option for sitting by and watching the world pass by with a delicious meal on hand and a stellar wine list to make your way through. Prepare your taste buds for the gin-cured salmon with grain mustard, buttermilk, cucumber and dill. Oh, and the 15 hour Harvey beef ribs might get messy, but it is so, so worth it.

Juniper & Bay
Hand cut potatoes cooked in duck fat are the type of meal we expect to be on offer in heaven, so the fact that they’re pretty damn good at Juniper & Bay makes us think this might be as close to heaven as we can get. But that’s just a side, the mains are worth gushing about too: tripe pie Burgundian style and Bouillabaisse Fish Soup (plus other yummy-ness) await. Bring stretchy pants.

Heirloom by Pete Evans
A stickler for sourcing local and creating dishes that taste delicious but are actually good for you, Pete Evans’ Heirloom brings a healthy eating ethos to hungry Perthies. Chow down on the confit duck leg with green papaya, and don’t even think about leaving without trying the macadamia crusted chicken schnitzel. If all that extra cash leaves you with a sweet craving, shovel the coconut and pineapple panna cotta down.

The neighbourhood bar of your dreams, Clarence's will charm your socks off with it’s bare brick walls, polished bar, leather booths and a beer garden worthy of all that West Coast sun! To get the most of your halved bill, we suggest booking either a booth or a cheeky alfresco spot, bring your mates along and tuck into some of their epic shares plates. Our picks? Try the baked chicken wings with sriracha and blue chaase, the potted duck with pickles, Freo octopus, and Clarence’s famous Mac n’ Cheese. Holy s**t the mac n’ cheese…

A penchant for charcoal, Habitué brings a bit of the Mediterranean to north Freo. With a backyard bar garden and a Spanish villa feel, dinner here feels rather like dining with family (the kind you really like). Focusing on share plates, order up like the big spender you are; the baked fish, the charcoal lemon chicken and harissa braised brisket, the works. We’ll bet you can squeeze in the Orange Posset with elderflower champagne and almond crumb, too.
