No one told us it was going to be raining ramen this year, but I guess if you wish hard enough, everything comes in pleasurable abundance. That’s right guys, Perth is all set to get another ramen joint, and this time it’s the brainchild of ramen royalty—Keisuke Takeda.

Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King will be opening its gates this Thursday 12 April at the newly refurbished Melbourne Hotel, and you can expect all your favourite ramen bowls, with ingredients all the way from Japan to keep the flavour of the tonkotsu (pork broth) as authentic as it can get.

Not only is Takeda the title holder of ‘Ramen King’ but his reigning ramen bars across Japan and Singapore sell out more than 9000 bowls of some seriously delicious ramen bowls every day. We’re betting the noodle lovers of Perth could double those numbers in no time.

With every bowl of ramen ordered in the first month of its opening, you get a chance to win enter a draw where two very lucky people will be walking away with free ramen for a WHOLE YEAR #Yaaaaas. If you win, drop us an email because we’re looking forward to being your BFFs…for a whole year.

If you need ramen before Thursday, check out Perth's best ramen spots.
