Coronavirus saw all sorts of Perth’s small businesses going above and beyond to make sure we could still enjoy our favourite meals from the safety of our homes, and even though we can go out again now, we have to admit we're pretty into the idea of having vegan treats delivered to our door. Whether you’re looking for a hearty plant-based meal, a snack or a sneaky sweet treat, these vegan businesses have you covered.
Here are some of the best plant-based businesses doing delivery in Perth.
The Grass Fed Doughnut
For drool-worthy vegan doughnuts, look no further than The Grass Fed Doughnut. These self-proclaimed Doughnut Bod specialists have mastered the basics with their Unoriginal Glaze and Cinnamon Sugaa doughnuts, but it’s their crazy flavour combinations that will have you hooked. Top picks include the Cookie Funfetti, the Strawberry Custard, the PB Nana Choc Pie and the Oreos n’Cream. Each week they put on a different box of six set flavours for delivery between Thursday and Sunday, but you can also opt for the Plain Jane box if you’re not feeling adventurous.
If you’re a vegan in Perth and you haven’t tried Roho Bure’s ice cream, you’ve been missing out. As well as being plant-based, all of their flavours are free of gluten and refined sugar, so you can treat yourself and still stay healthy. They’ve started delivering a few different combos on Thursday nights—our favourite has got to be the Netflix pack which comes with two tubs of ice cream, four cookies, four cones and two sauces—and we’re seriously jealous of anyone who has the freezer space to invest in one of their 5L tubs! Get yours delivered here.
Loving Hut Northbridge
Loving Hut is all about living compassionately and sustainably, and their Northbridge store is now delivering dinner so you can do just that from home. They’re dishing up a wide variety of delicious plant-based meals like Thai green curry, crispy oyster mushrooms and cauliflower wings. Thanks to Peace’Za, you can also enjoy the tastiest vegan pizzas. Go for the mushroom heaven—a mushroom pizza topped with Notzarella, basil and cracked pepper—or keep it simple with a vegan Margherita, the choice is yours. Order yours for delivery here.
Lord Of The Fries
Lord Of The Fries is delivering, which means Perth vegans can now indulge in anything from hot dogs and burgers to Chik’n waffles and mac and cheese balls without having to leave the house. Obviously, you can’t go past a side of their fresh and crispy fries.
La Vida Vegan (And Honey’s Bakehouse)
Thanks to La Vida Vegan, you can get your vegan groceries delivered right to your door. Think vegan cheese, plant-based burgers, all of the essentials and plenty of sweets. These guys also get a fresh drop from Honey’s Bakehouse every Friday so you might want to tee up your grocery order to align with that. Baked fresh in Roleystone, there are goodies like deep fried vanilla slice, choc dipped doughnut scrolls, custard scrolls and a whole lot more to choose from.
Noshing Vegan Fine Foods
Noshing didn't want isolation to stop you from getting your graze on, so they started offering delivery in the Perth Metro area and we hope they'll continue well beyond the COVID days. They passionately handcraft their 100% cruelty free (and gluten free) cheeses which look and taste like the real deal so the only thing you have to worry about is becoming addicted. You need to try out the blue vein cheese and the ‘goats’ cheese with harissa. They’ve also got tasty marinated feta and parmesan sprinkle by the jar, so why not try them all?
Gelato 101 Vegan Artisan
For vegan gelato that tastes just like the real deal, you need to try Gelato 101 Vegan Artisan. It’s hard not to be tempted by flavours like creme brulee, cherry ripe, apple pie and their delicious salted caramel. Go all out and add one of their doughnut cones to your order—your taste buds will thank you later.
Flora And Fauna
Flora and Fauna has got all of your vegan and vegetarian cravings covered. While it’s their Insta-worthy breakfasts topped with edible flowers that have made them so popular, it’s Flora and Fauna’s vegan delivery and takeaway that’s been winning over the people of Perth recently. Order their classic gluten and sugar-free banana bread for breakfast, or opt for the roasted herbed potato salad with vegan ranch for dinner. There’s also an endless supply of vegan cupcakes, brownies and other sweets to choose from.
Pearth Organic Kitchen
Focusing on local, organic produce is never a bad thing, and the team at Pearth are all over it. Their fully vegan and vegetarian menu is truly unique and can be delivered at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast fritters are a must-try.
Gluten-free and vegan bakery Darringtons Pastry is pumping out sweets like doughnuts, brownies, eclairs and lemon meringue pies to keep your hunger pangs at bay while in isolation. They also make a mean lentil shepherd's pie, so be sure to try it out. Get your order form here and fill it out by 12pm on Sundays for delivery on Tuesdays.
If you’re looking for healthy vegan treats with no compromise in taste, Crunchbox has got you covered. Take your pick from a range of bliss balls, brownies, raw cakes and slices, or go all out and order yourself the quarantine pack (they’ll even throw in a free roll of toilet paper). Delivery is free for all orders $45 and over.
Cheeky Cacao Project
Get your vegan chocolate fix from Cheeky Cacao Project. While they make a killer dark chocolate, it’s their cool flavour combinations that have caught our attention. The lime and sea salt tastes like summer in a block of chocolate, and the almond butter bar tastes just like a Reese’s Butter Cup done healthy. You can order yours here.
Hear Us Raw
If you're after something super healthy and even more delicious, Hear Us Raw has got you covered. With bliss balls, bliss bites and nice big bliss bars in a huge variety of flavours, you'll be sure to find something that tickles your fancy. They're offering free delivery While all this COVID craziness is happening, plus a10% discount if you use the code VIP10.
