You Can Now Buy Alcohol At These Perth Supermarkets

By Anna Franklyn - 30 Aug 2017

Well, this is just huge. Aldi just got the go ahead to sell booze in five of their WA stores! No, we didn't think we'd ever see the day this happened in Perth either.

While you'll have to travel to Butler, Harrisdale, Joondalup, South Lake or Wattle Grove, it might be well worth it to check out what's on offer! Stocking plenty of Margaret River wines from as little as $7, we've heard they're not half bad. There's also a legit French champagne for 20 bucks which is apparently one of the top 10 selling champagnes in Oz. Maybe it's a top seller because of its price, but maybe it's actually good. I guess we'll have to go and test it.

Because this is WA, Aldi is only allowed to sell grog on the condition that it's not refrigerated (and a few million other conditions) so don't go swinging by on your way to dinner, but if you need to replenish your stocks or you're having a big party, this might just be your best bet!

Prefer something a little more personal? Here are Perth's best boutique bottle shops.
