So it's nearly Christmas, and what have you done? John Lennon certainly wasn’t talking about booking restaurants for the festive season, but he may as well have been.

It can be a royal pain in the proverbial if you aren’t super organised (who is?), and trying to pin down a place to suit everyone’s whims? Forget about it!

If you’ve never used Dimmi, then get your life together because this nifty restaurant reservation site (there’s an app too) is all about simplifying your hectic festive season schedule.

Newsflash: It’s the 21st Century and booking a restaurant is as easy as clicking a button—well a couple of them, anyway—so you can get back to the real fun.

As if that wasn’t enough of a draw card, just by booking one of Dimmi’s restaurants, you can go in the draw to win the ultimate office Christmas party catered by Adam Liaw.

Because Adam knows a thing or two about good food, we caught up with him to find out his favourite Brisbane restaurants to get your merry on, and keep it that way.

E’cco

“I love the laid back atmosphere at E’cco Bistro, and they have a great non-standard champagne list for all your Christmas season toasts,” says Adam. Aside from their creative champagne menu, E’cco’s menu is the all about elegant celebration—of fresh Queensland produce and of fine flavours.

Gauge

One of The Urban List’s favourite breakfast spots, Gauge in South Brisbane is creative, cool and chilled out to the max. Unwavering dedication to locavore principles and some of the most unusual pairings around, Adam is a huge fan. “If you’re after something a bit different, Gauge has a menu that will keep you guessing from start to finish.”

Gordita

Of course, a Spanish restaurant with oodles of flair makes the perfect setting for a festive season dining spot. Out-of-this-world tapas and raciones, a wine list that could pass for one in the best bodegas in Madrid and, of course, sangria—the ultimate festive tipple in our eyes—Gordita is a must-go-to for Christmas celebrations.

Customs House

A Brisbane institution, Customs House do not shy away from a soiree. Specialising in weddings and all manner of functions, the menu is a classic Modern-Australian, produce-driven affair and the drinks menu is equally festive with a selection of international and local drops to wet your whistle. We’ve had more than our fair share of classy Sunday sessions over-looking the river, Pimms in hand, at this Brisbane gem.

Il Centro

Modern Italian at its finest, Il Centro is a bonafide Brisbane institution, quietly doing its thing at Eagle Street Pier. Plating up seasonal antipasti, primi, secondi and desserts for 23 years is no mean feat, and with that much experience, you know they know, how to cater a gathering.

To go in the draw to win the ultimate office Christmas party simply book a restaurant on dimmi.com.au or via the iPhone app between Friday 20th November and Wednesday 9th December, enter the promo code ADAM when booking, and you will go into the draw to win!
