The James Street Food Trail kicked off on Saturday, to the delight of Brisbane's food fans, and we got in on the fun with our epic Urban Picnic, with hundreds of you stopping by to say hi, have a drink, and sun yourselves at our picnic space. But just because the fun of Saturday is over, that doesn't mean the foodie fun is done and dusted. The food trail is kicking on all week with a host of great events to keep you (and your tum') entertained.

Wednesday 7th August

Winter Pastries Class at the James Street Cooking School
Learnt to make easy-peasy, and totally tasty, winter pastries at the James Street Cooking School's winter pastry demonstration. With pastries catering to both sweet and savoury fans, this is one class you won't want to flunk.

Thursday 8th August

Health Place Presents, A Cut Above

Saturday 10th August

Frank Camorra Comes to Town
Owner and executive chef of Melbourne's Movida restaurants, the legendary Frank Camorra will be gracing us with his presence all day on Saturday the 10th. Find Frank at the Standard Market Co from 11am, where he'll be hosting an interactive cooking demonstration using delish Spanish produce to create amazingly simple tapas dishes. He'll be making his way to Scrumptious Reads at 3pm for a book signing, and then heading to Sixes and Sevens at 5pm for a tapas takeover, where you can try his famed tapas for yourself!
Get Lost in Space with Easton Pearson
Watch Lydia Pearson and Pam Easton style their very own dream interiors using SPACE furniture. You know this is going to be a stylin' refurb'. To book yourself a spot call 32 53 6000.
Street Food at Gerard's
The only thing we love more than one of Gerard's share plates, is lots of Gerard's share plates. The Gerard's gang are hosting an afternoon of Middle Eastern street food bliss outside their bistro on Saturday afternoon from 2pm. If their amazing Arabian-inspired treats on Saturday were any indication, you won't want to miss this laneway food fest.
