We’re probably not ready for this level of fierceness, but ready or not, here he comes: Queer Eye fan favourite Jonathan Van Ness is bringing his ‘flipping tumbling’ standup comedy show to Australia and New Zealand next year and to say we’re pumped would be an understatement.

As the star of the Emmy-winning reality show Queer Eye, Emmy-nominated web series Gay of Thrones, and acclaimed podcast Getting Curious, and upcoming book Over The Top, Van Ness has become known for his fabulous, unstoppable energy.

For the first time ever, Van Ness will bring all his fabulousness to the stand-up stage Down Under with his unforgettable live show Road to Beijing, serving cirque-du-so-gay-realness between side-splitting stand-up sets.

The show is inspired by Van Ness’ ongoing attempt and lifelong obsession to become a figure-skating prodigy just in time for the next Olympic cycle, which happens to be in 2022 in Beijing.

Road to Beijing will come to Auckland (Sunday, 16 February), Christchurch (Tuesday, 18 February), Brisbane (Thursday, 20 February), Adelaide (Friday, 21 February), Melbourne (Saturday 22 February), Perth (Tuesday, 25 February) and Sydney (Friday, 28 February). Tickets go on sale this Friday, 2 August at 2 pm, so keep refreshing this page here.
