Get excited vegans and vegetarians, because Australia’s coolest vegetarian fast food joint is set to swing open its doors in Fortitude Valley soon. Yes, Lord Of The Fries is COMING TO BRISBANE. Holy moly guacamole.
Announced on their Facebook last week, the news doesn't include an exact location or opening date for the new spot, but you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll be right there when they finally start slinging their infamous vegan feeds.
Originating in Melbourne, this vegan-friendly joint has a cult following—and for good reason too. Their signature fries are what they’re known and loved for. Hellooo mouth-wateringly crispy fries topped with equally as delectable sauces.
Their menu stars not one, not two, not even three but FOUR types of fries—classic, chunky, shoe-string and sweet potato. As for the sauces, they’re inspired by international flavours. Think Indian, Mexican, Vietnamese and Italian. And yes, the menu includes erryone’s much-loved Canadian poutine.
What’s more, they have a poutine burger. This bad boy is stacked high with a vege ‘beef’ patty, gravy and cheese-laden fries, soy bacon and garlic mayo. Dreams DO come true. We want, no need, one.
We’re equally excited about the rest of their burger offerings, as well as their hot dogs, onion rings and nuggets. On top of being a completely vegan fast food joint, Lord Of The Fries is kosher, halal and preservative-free with low-gluten options to boot.
Coming to a street somewhere in the Valley, you’ll find us loitering around Fortitude Valley with all the other fry lovers to welcome Lord Of The Fries as they make their Brisbane debut.
