Get excited vegans and vegetarians, because Australia’s coolest vegetarian fast food joint has opened its doors in Fortitude Valley. Yes, Lord Of The Fries has finally come to Brisbane. Holy moly guacamole.
Originating in Melbourne, this vegan-friendly joint has a cult following—and for good reason too. Their signature fries are what they’re known and loved for. Hellooo mouth-wateringly crispy fries topped with equally as delectable sauces. Slinging their infamous vegan feeds from a hole-in-the-wall spot off Brunswick Street, the new location features their signature tiles, along with a street-art adorned interior and a handful of tables if you don't want to grab and go.
The menu stars not one, not two, not even three but FOUR types of fries—classic, chunky, shoe-string and sweet potato. As for the sauces, there's 12 to choose from, including the likes of Euro mayo, aioli garlic mayo, spicy chilli, cheese and gravy, smoky southern BBQ.
We’re equally excited about their burger offerings (ever wanted to try a vegan fish burger? Now you can), as well as their hot dogs, mac 'n' cheese balls, onion rings and nuggets. Bonus, they've even got a breakfast menu for the early birds (or the super late birds...), with breakfast muffins to chow down on in the AM.
So tell all your vegan friends, or maybe even try out going meat-free every once in a while, and get all the details here.
In other news, Holey Moley has opened another insane mini golf bar in the CBD.
