As the third member of the syndicate of eateries including Pizzeria Violetta and Sichuan Bang Bang, Stavros the Greek opened in Kenmore last year to bring some serious Greek to the Western ‘burbs, and now the culinary glory of the world’s greatest surviving democracy has made its way to the inner suburbs.
Operating out of sister venue Sichuan Bang Bang’s Paddington digs, Stavros the Greek’s Hellenic feasts are currently available in the 4064, and will be until October 28. Expect succulent, smoky meats fresh off the charcoal grill, as well as some mouth-watering yiros, and Stavros’ full selection of dips with the fluffiest fired pita known to man. We recommend getting around the Stavros Bang Bang special: two souvlaki meat skewers, plus chips and a glass of either the house wine or house beer, all for just $15.
Supply is in no way limited, but time sure is, so make sure you get yourself down to Sichuan Bang Bang Paddington before October 28 for a premium taste of some of Brisbane’s best Greek.
