New Brisbane café Little Loco is, as the name suggests, small but insanely delicious.
Since quietly opening its doors a few months back, Little Loco has been filling the tums of New Farm’s hard to please and waistline-conscious breakfast crowd, and impressing with its reliably tasty, little brekky and lunch menu.
Brisbane breakfast purists will be all over the simple breakfast line up, which is taken up a notch by quirky twists on breakfast classics and creative, wholesome dishes, sure to make your tastebuds loco.
The smashed avo is a winner, served on corn bread with pistachio dukkah, while the hotcakes are banoffee flavoured (never a bad idea), and drizzled with caramel, and cinnamon and banana ricotta.
The sweet potato and pumpkin bruschetta is a real show stopper (pumpkin on toast is the new avocado—you heard it here first, people), and the breakfast burger, sandwiched between polenta brioche, is on hand to crush your hangover.
Little Loco’s health-conscious smoothie and cold pressed juice offerings are good looking enough to tempt you away from solids—our pick is the ‘salted caramel’ smoothie, made with dates, cashews, banana, vanilla, sea salt, and almond milk.
Fonzie Abbott Coffee, Mork hot chocolates, and matcha lattes have all your hot-bevvy bases covered.
A comfortably quaint fit out and friendly team make Little Loco a New Farm breakfast spot well worth a swing by on your morning commute or a weekend brunch session.
