Spring has sprung—the most magical, temperate and fleeting season on a Gold Coaster’s calendar, before the stifling hellfire of summer sets in.

So, we’re helping you make the most of it! Read on for 50 stellar things to do on the Gold Coast this spring.

  1. You know what spring means?! The sunflowers are back! Head south to Cudgen’s Farm & Co. this October/November for the only selfie you’ll need this season.
  2. Get your hands dirty with you-pick veggies and fresh produce from these fertile farms you can visit, on and around the Gold Coast.
  3. This spring, whisk your lover away for a whimsical picnic in the great outdoors. With a little forward planning, gourmet picnic hampers can now be collected direct from Mavis’s Kitchen and O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. Brownie points? Tick.
  4. Heralded as this season’s hottest event ticket, Diner en Blanc, the world famous secret picnic, is already sold out (insert sad face). So, if you’re one of over 3,000 on the waitlist, prepare for serious FOMO when photos flood your social channels early spring.
  5. It’s Jacaranda season! These majestic purple-blooming trees are only in flower between late September and October and are perfect for that Insta-worthy picnic backdrop.
  6. Puff your chest up with pride, knowing how far the Gold Coast craft beer scene has come, as you swill frosty bevvies and geek out chatting to the brew masters at Crafted, Gold Coast’s first beer and cider festival (Saturday 4 November).
  7. Dance like nobody is watching, while you shimmy and sway your way into that bikini, with these adult dance classes to get you groovin’. From swing to Beyonce, it’s all here.
  8. Cancel the wine delivery (figuratively speaking) and go boozin’ at the Gold Coast’s best bars and restaurants for sunshine drinks
  9. Take advantage of the alfresco dining situation at Oasis’s buzzing new foodie precinct, starting with salted caramel gyoza at Harajuku Gyoza
  10. Christen Hellenika’s mind-blowing new rooftop, due to open late spring. But not before devouring slow-cooked lamb shoulder, saganaki and zucchini chips in the lush new dining room downstairs.
