The BeauVine Food and Wine Festival is back for 2017 with drool-worthy eats from 13 of our favourite restaurants around Perth and more than 60 wineries, breweries and cideries on board to dish out loads of tastings. Happening at Birdwood Square in Mount Lawley from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 October, you'll want to start prepping your stomachs now because the line up of food is epic.
Mack Daddy's will be back this year with their insanely delicious pizza by the slice and their famous mozzarella ella ella sticks—if you haven't tried these, this should be your first stop at BeauVine—while Clarence's will be dishing up an exclusive BeauVine Burger with double beef, double bacon and double cheese. Holy moly! If that sounds like too much for you they'll also be doing loaded fries and pulled pork buns.
You'll also be able to tuck into Perth's best hot chicken sambo from the guys at Meat Candy, or if that doesn't float your boat, their twice cooked pork belly with hot maple glaze or the smoked brisket flat bread should do the trick.
If you're after something vegetarian, Alabama Song is doing a scrumptious chickpea burger, and for the carnivores, they'll also have a classic cheeseburger or spicy fried chicken burger. And let's not forget their BeauVine exclusive cheesy fires.
If you're after some Asian flavours, Lucky Chan's, Dainty Dowager and Low Key Chow House will all be dishing up the goods. Lucky Chan's famous bao buns will be on offer of course, but they'll be doing a couple of BeauVine exclusives—Texas beef brisket with Asian peach chutney and white cabbage slaw or the pumpkin pie spice pumpkin with custard and treacle if you're after something sweet. Dainty and Low Key have teamed up to bring you delicious dumplings, dim sum squid and Yakisoba Japanese noodles.
Feel like Mexican? No worries. La Cholita will be cooking up a storm with their beef cheek tacos, spicy duck taquitos and cheesy bean taquitos which they've come up with especially for this year's BeauVine Festival.
Pinchos are joining the party this year and they're bringing pintxo, croquettas and chicken & chorizo paella to celebrate, while Filos & Yiros has created a Boreas Beef yiros especially for the weekend long celebration, but don't worry, the lamb yiros and their patates are also available!
The Brisbane Hotel is bringing in the big guns with chicken liver parfait, roast pumpkin and whipped feta arancini and salt and pepper squid.
When it comes to sweets, Chicho Gelato will be back again with flavours like salted caramel crack, raspberry dark chocolate and lavender honeycomb while Mary Street Bakery will be revealing a BeauVine special—a miso caramel glazed doughnut with a black sesame crunch. OMG! Plus, their old faithfuls like the pecan maple, salted caramel, choc malt and pistachio rosewater doughnuts will also be available.
If you absolutely can't wait until BeauVine starts on 20 October, you'll be able to get a few of the dishes through UberEATS from Thursday 12 October right up until the day before the festival begins. Pinchos, Clarences and Mary Street Bakery will also beoffering sneak previews of their dishes, plus, the first five peeps to order one of the 'Taste of BeauVine' menu item from one of them will win a double pass to the Friday evening session of BeauVine. We know what we'll be having for lunch this Thursday!
