Cancel your weekend plans and throw away your belts, because we’re about to spill some serious tea on everything worth checking out at the BeauVine Food and Wine Festival 2018. Happening from Friday 19 October to Sunday 21 October at the Birdwood Square in Mount Lawley, BeauVine will feature mouth-watering eats, wine, and beer from Perth’s best of the best!

One of the most exciting things to look forward to this year is the epic collaboration between Gusto Gelato and Mary Street Bakery. The ‘Naughty Brownie’ is a carb lover’s dream, with the most perfect Mary Street brownie as the base, topped with Oreos, a red velvet cake, and a generous scoop of velvety gelato from Gusto Gelato. This baby is limited, so you better think on your feet if you plan on racing us to the front of the line.

Clean Tasty Dirty will be rocking up this year with a whole bunch of delicious clean and dirty eats to pick from. Their Clean Burger will be loaded with seven different salads and three different fillings to chose from including BBQ pork, spicy beef, or veggies. The ‘dirty’ alternative will switch out the salads for the sultry classics—cheese, bacon, mayo, and lettuce. There’s also talk of ‘clean’ and ‘dirty’ burritos and nachos, and while it’s a difficult choice, we’re betting you’re already leaning towards dirty *wink wink*.

Back again this year with their seriously big slices of cheesy pizza is Mack Daddy. They’ll be serving up some of their best-selling pies, along with those gooey mozzarella sticks that make the crowd go berserk.

If you’re a pork lover, then you’d have your hands (and bellies) full with some smoky, melt-in-your-mouth spit-roasted pork rolls and gravy, courtesy of Yes Please Perth, and Porkies’ ribs with fries or mac ‘n’ cheese topped with ranch and nacho cheese sauce. Stop salivating and keep reading.

Next stop will be Henry Summer for their crispy chicken dumplings or the Henry Summer burger, or maybe you'd prefer the spicy duck or cheesy bean taquitos from La Cholita?

Obviously, you aren’t leaving without stuffing yourself with doughnuts? Mary Street has a wicked doughnut menu lined up with all your favourites, including lemon maple, choc caramel peanut, salted caramel and the doughnut attack—a gorgeous collaboration between Mary Street, Eagle Bay Brewing Company and Mane Liquor.

We’ve kept the best for the last, because this year’s BeauVine fest will have a serious explosion of Asian flavours, and we’re not holding back on details. Bao Wow will be dishing out some of their famous bao, but it’s the maple roasted cauliflower bao with sriracha yoghurt that will b(a)owl you over. There’s also a drool-worthy Texas beef brisket bao loaded with peach chutney and crispy onions if you’re aren’t in the mood to part with meat. Test your spice-o-meters with Banana Leaf’s hot dynamite chili spring rolls, but for you less adventurous ones, they’re also serving up their signature BBQ pork skewers which will have been marinated in divine goodness for about 24 hours. Phew.

Well there’s a preview of what to expect but there’s loads more to check out at the BeauVine Festival, so get yourself there this weekend.
