There’s nothing that epitomises summer vibes quite like a trip to the outdoor cinema, so you’ll be glad to know the Perth season is kicking off early this year.
Aptly timed with the arrival of spring, Openair Cinemas hits Perth’s Ozone Reserve on 4 September, and the opening night film is one we’ve all had on our must watch lists; Booksmart.
Along with the coming of age comedy, the movie line-up features some of this year’s best hits, including Rocketman, The Lion King, Toy Story 4, Yesterday and Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.
Openair Cinemas will also be showing support for Australia’s film industry with screenings of the empowering climate change doco 2040 and The Australian Dream, a documentary shining a spotlight on casual racism in AFL.
And of course, there’ll be throwback screenings and cult classics, like Clueless.
Sultan Pepper is back to tantalise tastebuds with their Mid-Eastern eats and Giesen Wines, 4Pines and PIMMS will be bringing the bevvies.
If it’s your turn to plan date night Wine Wednesdays are for you. Settle in for a killer rom-com and sample the full range of wines from Giesen. And every weekend there’ll be live music and DJs to get you amped up for the feature flick of the night.
Tickets start at $14, celebrate making it through winter and get yours here.
