If, like us, you’ve spent your whole life wishing for a treehouse or just a general hidden oasis to drink beer and kick back, boy do we have some good news for you!
Little Creatures are building their very own treehouse slash ode to beer at Arcadia in South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt to celebrate Brisbane Festival and of course, all things beer. The Treehouse will be home to 16 beer taps and 8 different Little Creatures and White Rabbit beers all for your enjoyment.
The treehouse itself is kind of amazing, trust us. The double storey bar sprawls out across Arcadia in South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt, which is pretty much the place to be during Brisbane Festival; it’s where all the best food is (hello, Fat Noodle!) and where a whole heap of fun shows are, so if you’re into having fun you’ll probably be calling the Little CreaturesTreehouse home during September.
Our favourite part though, has to be the epic roof top of the Little CreaturesTreehouse where you can sit back, Little Creatures in hand, and enjoy an unadulterated, uninterrupted view of Brisbane. If we’re being honest, we’re going to hit this place up even when there aren’t any shows on, it’s just that cool!
You know what they say about treehouses, right? So much room for activities! So, apart from serving up oodles of our fave beer, there’s also a whole heap of activities on:
Little Creature’s Beer School
Learn all there is to know about beer, so you actually know what you’re talking about.
Roving Games
The Maintenance Men will be on hand to add even more fun to the mix with Jenga, mini foosball, bowling and even wind up creature racing.
Ukulele Workshops
Because there’s nothing chiller than drinking beer with a ukulele, Little Creatures will be putting on lessons and open mike sessions with the help of Brisbane Ukulele Musical Society.
Phonography Classes
For anyone who’s ever included their finger in an almost perfect Instagram shot, this workshop is for you.
Live Music
27 hours of live music will be played at the Treehouse during the three weeks of Brisbane festival, which is exactly what the doctor ordered as your pre-show entertainment!
