Hollywood style seasoned chunky fries layered with their house specialty chilli con carne and topped with melted cheese and sour cream, spicy as you like.

The guys at Nest Brisbane are sitting on a big secret; they serve up some of the best fries you’ll find in this city. The War Chips here have to be tried to be believed. A big bowl of fresh, hot fries topped with satay sauce, mayonnaise and diced onions. One bite will have you hooked and dreaming of these tasty treats for months to come.

Did someone say wedges? You can get your hands on a big bowl of potato wedges, served with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce at The Groove Train at Brisbane Riverside. For something totally unique, try their rustic eggplant fries of house cut parmesan crumbed eggplant, served with a balsamic reduction and aioli.

They really aren’t messing around at Bread & Meat Co. Firstly, you can get yourself a big serve of Canadian Poutine, which is fries topped with homemade curd cheese and poutine gravy. They also serve a mean chilli cheese fries as well as amazing sweet potato, parmesan and dry spinach fries served with garlic aioli. Delicious!

Not only do they serve up really yummy burgers, they guys at the Miel Container also do a mean beer battered chips. You can also try their supa crunch wedges and sweet potato wedges, both served with sour cream. Crunchy on the outside, gorgeously tender on the inside, these wedges will have you coming back for more.

The guys at Southbank’s South Side Diner have you covered with two very delicious chippy options. Classic, hot fries with chicken salt and sweet potato fries served with chipotle mayo.

If you want to try some fancy fries, visit Les Bubbles for a glass of wine, a whopping big steak and a very generous serve of Pommes Frittes. Thin, crunchy and simply delicious, the fries here are the ideal way to soak up that perfectly cooked steak.

If you like your fries with a great view, take a trip down to Cove Bar & Dining at Southbank. Not only do they have amazing beer battered chips served with roasted garlic aioli, they also do some pretty awesome zucchini chips, served with wasabi aioli. Both go excellently with a glass of wine or five.
