Swing into Spring is on again, with the ninth annual gala cocktail event taking place at Mirra on Friday 6 September to raise money for Brisbane's homeless women.
This fantastic night of food, fashion, live music, getaways, fab' auction prizesand giveaways will be hosted by Channel 9's very own Shelley Craft, and profits from ticket sales from the night will be devoted to helping Second Chance Programme extend its support to the Brisbane Housing Company and Youth and Emergency Services.
Swing into Spring is the Second Chance Programme's major fundraising event of the year, and has raised over $200,000 so far. This year the committee hopes to raise a further $50,000.
Stores from the iconic Brisbane Arcade will showcase their new Spring/Summer collections in an exclusive fashion parade including Tengdahl, Pia du Pradal, Darb, Maiocchi, The Hat Box and Colette.
Since it was established in 2001, Second Chance Programme has placed almost 500 women, who would otherwise be homeless, in permanent accommodation.
This year, the charity's 'Bridge the Gap' partnership with the Brisbane Housing Company will ensure that another 90 homeless women have safe, secure housing. We think this is definitely a cause worth getting behind. You can book your tickets to this great event here!
