If it's been a little while since you got dressed up and got a little bit fancy, we have some news that will have you heading to the wardrobe to check if your Sunday best still fits.

Bacchus has been closed due to COVID restrictions for a while now, but though it won't be re-opening until later in the year, the team have decided to kick on with their iconic high tea offerings. However, instead of hosting you in their beautiful South Brisbane restaurant, they'll package it all up for you to enjoy wherever you like, whether that's at home, at the park or in the front seat of your car.

Just like Bacchus's usual afternoon delights, your high tea hamper will be brimming with delicate sweets and savoury bites that will add a little luxury to anyone’s day. The $30-per-person Quintessential High Tea at Home features a menu of delicate creations like smoked salmon and dill crème fraîche on tomato bread, poppy seed and orange cake, Earl Grey pear and caramel slice and of course, the high tea signature, freshly baked scones with jam and cream.

The menu also includes delicious savoury bites like Brazilian cheese puffs, truffled egg croissant and ham and sweet mustard pickle on bread. All dietary needs can be fully catered for, and you'll even get a selection of three Harney & Sons teas to complete the experience.

Ready to treat yourself? Pop on your best threads, chill the champers and place your order here. Orders must be placed by 5pm on Wednesday for the following weekend, and hampers can be picked up from Bacchus in South Brisbane on Saturday or Sunday between 10am–12pm.
