New West End Bar, Bosc, Opens Today!

There's one thing at TUL we'll never get sick of, and that's new bars opening in our fair city. Claiming to be a bar of social conscience, Bosc in West End has been on our radar for a while, and it's finally opening its doors to Brisbane's thirsty hordes tonight.

And when it comes to wetting the whistle, it sounds like Bosc will have all your bases covered. Housing a socially responsible selection of fine wines (they've even got a drop for our vegan friends), an impressive range of locally crafted beers—think Burleigh Brewing, Holgate and Fortitude brewing—and with plans to host a 'tap turn' (where a local brewer is allowed to take all eight taps hostage and showcase their range for one whole month), to say we're excited about this new West End bar is an understatement.

If you're looking for something a little harder, Bosc has put their hand up as the new go-to for a gin cocktail (and about time too, gin has been sadly underrepresented in the Brisbane bar scene of late). As well as serving up your gin favourites, Bosc have created a few of their own ginny concoctions that we can't wait to sample.

There will be plenty of bite-sized munchies available, as well as tapas-style share plates, including wagyu beef pies (because sharing is caring, right?).

If this bar ticks as many boxes for you as it does for us (they have gin), we recommend getting along to this new West End watering hole asap.  Our sources tell us Bosc will be at capacity this weekend—good news travels fast!—so block out a night in your diary to get there next week.

They may be called The Bar Of Social Conscience, but if you want to have a good time we recommend leaving yours at the front door.  See you there!
