If you haven't the foggiest what a Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart is, you're seriously living your life wrong. I mean, we've banged on about them so much, you'd think we have shares...
Move aside, cheescake, Brisbane's got a cooler lil' sis in town; enter, the famous Hokkaido baked Cheese Tarts. After gaining a HUGE following in Asia and launching in Sydney and Melbourne last year, it was only a matter of time before they hit the shores of Brissie (anyone taking notice will know thye arrived on the GC not long ago—but who wants to schlep down the higway?).
In doubly joyous news, Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts are opening in not one, but two Brisbane locations over the next 10 days. The best bit? both spots are giving away free tarts! Yes, guys, this is real life.
ICYMI, they taste a cross between a cheesecake and a custard tart and are—warning—EXTREMELY addictive. The buttery crust pastry and slightly sweet, gooey filling is a heavenly combo—so of course you want to stuf your face for free!
The Myer Centre Brisbane CBD store is having its grand opening this Friday December 2, giving out 100 FREE original tarts between 4pm–5pm. Then, Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts' Garden City launch is happening on December 7 and will be giving away 150 tarts from 2pm. That's 250 tarts up for grabs, people! Our advice? Get queuing...
