Praise be to the sugary carb lords, for life finally has meaning with the best news possibly this town has ever heard; Brisbane is about to get its very own pizzeria-come-charcuterie-come dessert food truck! OH. MY. LORD.
This is not just any old food truck (I mean, not that you thought it was), this is a Salt Meats Cheese food truck (the iconic Sydney deli-come-pizza-come-pasta joint that also happens to be opening in Brisbane later this month!), which means that your go-to pizza (dessert or otherwise) flavour is coming to a street corner near you! And it’s pimped to the max.
Aptly named ‘Fuel’, Salt Meats Cheese’s first ever food truck will be dishing out their famed pizzas and charcuterie boards, as well as some incredible Italian dessert mash ups, including a Nutella pizza and chocolate Oreo-stuffed calzone! Stop it.
Launching today at Gasworks Newstead, the Fuel food truck will be making the rounds across Brisbane this weekend: the Carseldine Markets on Saturday 6th May, the Milton Markets on Sunday 7th May, and at Gasworks Newstead from 5pm all weekend!
Go on, treat yo’self Brisbane. It’s been a big week.
