Picture a world where you’re surrounded by your favourite Brisbane food trucks, a cold beer in your hand, and some awesome live band in the background. Wouldn’t life seem perf?
To say we’re kind of into our food at TUL would be a gross understatement. Throw around the word food truck though and you really get us going! So, as I’m sure you can imagine, when we heard of a new food truck festival (seriously!) coming to Brisbane, we got pretty excited.
The inaugural Eats & Beats Pop-Up Series is landing in Springwood at the Ikea forecourt next Friday night (27th March), and will be the first of a roaming festival series in and around the Logan and Brisbane area.
The line up at Eats & Beats (breathe!) includes Brisbane food truck icons The King Of Wings, Little Back, Pizzantica, Puerto Taco and Viva Paella. All will be dishing up their finest fare on the night, alongside insanely good Grandma’s Kiwi Kitchen, Sushi Neko Food Van, Fiery Deli, Yummi Fruit Ice Creamery, and Vira Lata. Ikea and The Coffee Club will also be open late for some post truckin’ shopping and coffee refuelling. Hold. Us. Back.
Add on live performances from Dave Power, plus Brisbane bands Neighbour, Inigo and PocketLove throughout the night and you’ve got yourself one hell of a debut pop-up event.
Eats & Beats kicks off at 5:30pm until 9:00, with free entry and free parking, meaning more dollars in your pocket for a food truck tasting frenzy! Check out visitlogan.com.au/eatsandbeats for more details and where to find the next Eats and Beats locations.
