Mondelez International, the company responsible for iconic brands like Cadbury, Oreo and Milka, are searching for new chocolate tasters. Yes, that’s actually a job and you can apply for it right here.
The job, which is part-time, is looking for people to play a key role in helping Mondelez perfect and launch new product all over the world by tasting and providing feedback just like their consumers.
You’ll work alongside 11 other chocolate tasters, sharing opinions and collaborating with others to reach an agreement on taste. Even better? Literally no experience is required as full training is provided to help you develop your taste buds, as well as the specific vocabulary required to help you communicate your opinions. Read: you’ll be eating an absolute shedload of delicious chocolate. In fact, the job actually lists a ‘passion for confectionary’ and being ‘eager to try new inventive products’ as part of it’s qualification requirements.
The part-time role requires you to be available for eight-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. And yes, the role is in their Wokingham HQ in England, but honestly, we’ve already started packing our bags. European gap year anyone?
