It’s no surprise that this delectable summer drink has taken Sydney (and our instafeeds) by storm. And we’re totally okay with it. Because we damn right love a good slurpee. And we also have a deep, loving relationship with rosè. So what’s not to love when the two are combined? Absolutely nothing, that’s what.
And if you haven’t had time to frosè yet, that’s okay. You will sooner or later. It’s only the best boozy trend of recent times.
So, sit back, relax and read on to find out where you can score the best frosè in Sydney.
North Bondi Fish
North Bondi Fish is one of the best places in Sydney to get your frosè on. Serving up a seriously beautiful alcoholic slushie, with some of the tastiest seafood around, your seaside feast is 100% covered. We all know not much beats an iconic summer drink, against an iconic summer backdrop—we’ve got you Sydney, frosè on!
Kensington Street Social
Two words: watermelon frosè. And yep, it’s just as delicious and sweet and pink as it sounds. Plus Kensington Street Social is giving you the ultimate Sunday sesh, serving up their speciality frosè over a seriously good brunch menu. Think spiced lamb, eggplant and yoghurt dressing on a sourdough flatbread. Sunday sesh = sorted.
Give this summer drink to us in a wine glass, with a pink and white-striped straw, and throw in some tiny flowers while you’re at it. Thanks Pelicano. We’ll gladly hit up this Frosè Garden Terrace featuring not one, but two rose slushie machines. Is there anything these guys haven’t thought of? The answer is no.
Sip on absolute strawberry-slushie goodness at Butter. And trust us, you won’t regret it. Because what can go wrong when frose, butter fried chicken, burgers and sneakers are combined. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel
Pair your perfect summer vibes at Watsons Bay Hotel with the perfect summer slushie concoction. With Tropez rosè, water and strawberry granita, the drinkable pink sorbet glass here is fresh AF. You’re welcome.
Ready for some glorious pink snow in a cup topped with a super cute flower? Here it is. Cubby’s Kitchen is pairing super tasty Lebanese fare with the one and only must-have frozen summer cocktail. And by the way, frosè and Cubby’s basturma rock n’ rolls with 3 month aged beef are a total win #justsayin.
If you fancy a glass of frosè on one of the hottest waterfront venues in Sydney you’ve officially arrived. Cue The Port. Like any true Sydney-sider you know cocktails by water are at least 147% better. The alcoholic slushie here is a tropical blend of Cake rosè, sweet vermouth and strawberry puree. We’ll just let that sink in.
O Bar And Dining
O Bar and Dining have a pretty magical-looking take on this chilly glass. Cue the Orchard Fizz. A super crisp concoction of apple juice, orange marmalade, organic Vodka O, Clove and Bergamot syrup and sparkling Sangiovese. We are totally onboard.
No surprise, the team at Catalina have also conquered the quintessential summer blend. Mixing Ross Hill rosè wine with fresh strawberries and caster sugar, this fresh glass is the perfect fit for Catalina’s harbour atmosphere. And it get’s the tick of approval from us, obvs.
It’s no secret that Manly Wine have hit upon a seriously awesome mix for their strawberry frosè. And what’s better than their frose? When you pair it with a serving of their seafood platter peppered with king prawns, oysters, scallops and Balmain Bugs. We could do that combo everyday.
If there’s one thing you need to know about Hotel Bondi, it’s that they have a seriously epic cocktail menu and that their frosè is on point— complete with mini flamingo decorations. Whether you gram it, drink it or share it in this beachside bar, their Pink Billy frosè is an absolute winner, with Pink Billy Orange Saignee, Cinzano Extra Dry Vermouth, strawberry puree and syrup. But let’s be honest, they had us at the flamingo decorations.
