A month-long festival of drinks and feasts is hitting Sydney and here’s everything you need to know.
Officially donned the "Brews, BBQs and Blues Festival", you’re essentially in for an entire month dedicated to the very best feeds from New Orleans. Every day in September, you’ll need to brace your bellies for a smoked meats menu packed with Southern spicy smoked wings, peach cobbler topped with whisky custard and a meat platter for two loaded with New Orleans sausage, Louisiana-style smoked pork shoulder, southern smoked brisket, Old Bay slaw and Southern bread rolls to soak up all that tender goodness.
It’s all happening at the historic Endeavour Tap Rooms in The Rocks, where the team will also be slinging an exclusive Endeavour Bourbon Ale, live blues music every weekend, classic movie screenings plus happy hour dollar wings and $5 taps, Monday to Friday from 4pm - 6pm.
Along with this, the crew here will also transform the upstairs King’s Head Room into a movie theatre for two nights (September 10 and 24). You can expect special screenings of old movies like The Blues Brothers and the Oscar-winning biopic, Ray. Choose from two ticket options: $15 tickets that include front-row bean bag seating, a drink on arrival and unlimited popcorn, or go for $10 with table seating, a drink on arrival and unlimited popcorn.
