Ahhh… Coffee and breakfast. Two concepts that often don't have a harmonious relationship with the term dairy-free. For those of us that have been kept happy with soy milk since ditching the cow, we're here to tell you that choice now exists in many cafes around Sydney. Thanks to almond milk, creamy, delicious coffee and delectable breakfasts are now possible. Considered a staple in medieval households, this nut-revolution is now slowly sweeping the streets and cafés of Sydney too. We've compiled a list for you to ensure your path to dairy-free enlightenment is a fantastic one.

Panama House | Bondi

Recognisable on Bondi Road by the eager diners lining the footpath, Panama House is where the locals flock to eat, and now to drink almond milk. Slide into a seat at the bar, skip down to the bottom of the menu and get adventurous with their cinnamon, banana and oats shake (made with almond milk, of course!).

Paramount Coffee Project | Surry Hills

Paramount Coffee Project not only serves almond milk, they make it themselves! Now that's commitment. Situated in the old Paramount Pictures building next to Tokyo Bikes, their PB & J milkshake is made even better when teamed with good old almond milk.

Street Bean Espresso | Mosman

Known as the little hole-in-the-wall that serves killer coffee, Street Bean Espresso is the perfect place to enjoy our newest friend, almond milk. With the frothing of almond milk considered a fine art, their baristas definitely know what they're doing so the decision to include them on this list was a no-brainer.

Anvil Coffee Co. | Kirribilli

A clear contender in the category of best-almond-milk-drinks-in-Sydney, Anvil Coffee Co.'s Chamellia 9 Spiced Chai is to die for. This authentically brewed chai is 100% natural and always served over their delicious almond milk. This is one almond milk beverage not to be missed.

Reuben Hills | Surry Hills

With a menu inspired by their travels, Reuben Hills has you well and truly covered on the dairy-free front. Serving almond and macadamia milk, it also forms the base of their Seffa porridge, which is served with jammed fruits, yoghurt, nuts and, of course, almond milk.

Porch and Parlour | Bondi Beach

A favourite to many in the east, Porch and Parlour is a popular breakfast option on Ramsgate Avenue. Beyond the usual range of milks, Porch and Parlour boasts serving almond milk, rice milk and soy milk. It's definitely one for the list.

Aboutlife | Rozelle

Renowned to stock some of the best natural and organic products in Sydney, it seems only fitting that Aboutlife serve almond milk. Enjoy with your morning coffee, in one of their popular sugar-free smoothies or perhaps take some home with you from their adjoining supermarket.

Sadhana Kitchen | Enmore

Believed to be Sydney's first organic café, Sadhana Kitchen has been serving almond milk before it was even a thing. An institution in the organic café world, it's worth a visit even if it's only for their salted caramel hot chocolate.

Earth To Table | Bondi Junction

An obvious choice in our roundup of the best Sydney locations to drink almond milk, Earth to Table never ceases to amaze us with their range of health-conscious alternatives. Why not enjoy it with one of their decadent raw desserts? We bet you can't resist, we've never been able to!
