Attention all Shakshuka fanatics, we may just have some very excellent news for you.
It’s deemed a hotspot amongst North Bondi locals and now the Middle Eastern joint we lovingly know as Shuk has opened up another café in Elizabeth Bay.
Set just around the corner from Rushcutters Bay Park, the new neat-sized 50-seat venue is a follow-up to their recently revealed Chatswood outpost. That's right, there are now three spots in Sydney to indulge in Shuk specialties.
Israeli-Argentinian head chef German Sanchez has designed a menu that looks similar to Bondi’s so brace yourself for the staples like baked egg Shakshuka for brekkie, the grilled-halloumi salad and that eight-hour slow cooked lamb and hummus platter for lunch. With the new park-side location, there’s going to be a fab takeaway menu alongside freshly baked bread and pastries with specialties like bagels, sourdough, donuts, cookies and challah to fulfil all your carb-loading needs.
We expect Shuk to be a neighbourhood favourite around these parts which will no doubt haul a bunch of newbies and regs.
Here are all the best places to grab brunch in Sydney.
