Let’s face it, you guys, desserts are absolutely delicious. But sometimes they come with a price, that feeling of a sick tummy and a bit of guilt after you’ve finished the last bite. Lucky for us, Brisbane is home to a whole bunch of ingenious foodies, finding a way to make our desserts healthy and tasty! We’ve brought together this list of 7 of Brisbane’s healthiest desserts to help you have your next sweet treat without any of the guilt.

Nutri Hitt

Geebung

With a food philosophy of ‘eating well doesn’t have to be boring,’ the dedicated food geniuses over at Nutri Hitt create raw, vegan, paleo, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free sweet treats to die for. Their heavenly cakes include chocolate marble, cookies and cream, lemon, lime and coconut and passionfruit and white chocolate. However, it’s their death by chocolate that really tempts the tastebuds, without any of the guilt!

Cloverly Cupcakes

Various Locations

The team at Cloverly Cupcakes have you covered with vegan, all-natural and absolutely delicious cakes and cupcakes sans all the bad stuff. Flavours include fan-favourites like jaffa, mint slice and salted caramel as well as mocha coconut, chocolate crunchy-comb and turkish delight, just to name a few.

Botanica

Red Hill

For the health conscious food-lover, Botanica is your one stop shop. Not only do they sell amazing savouries and salads, they also have a window display of sweets that will do all kinds of things to your tastebuds. Their home-made, fresh sweets include a vegan brownie with coconut caramel and Callebaut chocolate fudge cookies that are dairy, egg and gluten free.

Nodo Donuts

Newstead

Donuts aren’t usually associated with healthy food options; think Homer Simpson. But the guys at Nodo are revolutionising the way donuts are perceived. Their philosophy is, ‘eat donuts for breakfast,’ a moniker we can definitely get on board with. Their healthy take on the humble donut includes gluten-free treats like pumpkin maple, blueberry lemon, raspberry coconut and strawberry, coconut and hazelnut.

Raw and Peace

Northey Street Markets

You’ll find the very best raw, healthy desserts at the Northey Street Markets every Sunday, served up by Raw and Peace. Their amazingly healthy and delicious sweets include caramel slice, mint slice, salted caramel wagon wheels, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and one very, very good Turkish delight rocky road. All the health AND all the flavour.

Satori Organics

Sandgate

The guys at Satori Organics over at Sandgate supply healthy, delicious dessert options. Their beautiful to look at and yummy to eat sweets include raw mulberry cheesecake and chocolate chunk and berry slice. You’ll also find them stocking Cloverly Cupcakes from time-to-time and delightfully indulgent organic fudge from puremelt.

Clarence Corner Bookshop

South Brisbane

Perhaps one of Brisbane’s more hidden spots, Clarence Corner Bookshop creates fantastic healthy sweets and desserts. The bookshop is inconspicuously tucked into the old shopfronts of Stanley Streets, inside you’ll find the walls line with thousands of books. The cafe inside serves great coffee, as well as a bevy of raw cakes and chocolate brownies.
