Things to do in Brisbane

Today marks Brisbane’s 90th birthday “as a united city”. Woo hoo! We’re not entirely sure what that means, but a big happy birthday from us, Brisbane!

Once derided as a ‘big country town’, over the decades Brisvegas has blossomed into a far more sophisticated minx that boasts perennially good weather (except for, like, the last few days) and a level of coffee quality that is hard to match.

There’s plenty to love about this city of ours and in honour of our beloved town’s 90th year, we’ve come up with 90 things we love about Brisbane. If you're stuck for things to do in Brisbane, this is the list for you!

  1. Picnics in the Botanical Gardens.
  2. GOMA (F-ing love that place!).
  3. Saturday evenings at Eat Street Markets.
  4. Rummaging around the Paddington Antiques Centre.
