Brisbane Pride Is Hosting Their Inaugural Queer Formal 2017
Following on the success of the first Rainbow Formal on the Sunshine Coast in October, Brisbane Pride is proud to announce the inaugural Brisbane Pride Queer Formal for 2017. Designed as an inclusive, safe space for any LGBTIQ teenager who might have been barred from attending their own school formal, this formal is set to be a party that will blow all others out of the water. Think a two course meal, killer entertainment – including a performance by local legend Chrislyn Hamilton – and the chance to win the coveted title of Belle of the Ball. While the event is restricted to school age students, or those up to 19-years-old, members of the public can “purchase a ticket” to cover the coast of a student attending. Thanks to the generosity of the Brisbane community, every student attending the formal won’t have to pay a penny. Plus, you’ll earn some seriously good karma. Find all the details, and purchase a ticket, here.
