Repeat after me; ‘a floof is for life, not just for the Insta feed’. If your social devotion to all things four-legged has got you thinking about adding to your furry family, then this weekend’s a good place to turn those dreams into a reality.
This Saturday, the RSPCA will once again be taking over the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for their multi-annual pop-up adoption day. For one day only, hundreds of kitten, puppies, dogs and cats from various Queensland shelters will all be available for adoption—aka your opportunity to find your forever friend.
Entry to the adoption day is free, and there will also be a host of pet accessory stalls to browse (because those bow tie collars are just. So. Damn. Cute). Oh, and of course there’ll be coffee.
If you’re serious about adopting a pupper all your own, do yourself a favour and pre-register before rocking up on the day.
