Brisbane Market Calendar | February

Can you believe it’s already February! This month’s Brisbane Market Calendar is loaded with the last of the seasonal summer fruits (fare thee well, beloved mangoes), cool pop-up bars and indulgent food stalls that will knock you clear off that health kick you’ve been on since January.

If you’re looking for markets in Brisbane, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the lowdown of Brisbane’s best markets this February.

Lifestyle markets

Newmarket Creative Markets | New to the Brisbane market scene, The Newmarket Creative Markets are the perfect spot for a Sunday morning market spree. Check out the great range of food stalls (perf if you're into your foodie finds), unique jewellery and fashions, handmade goods and fresh cut flowers, plus a kids play area and live music for a super chilled vibe.

When: 1st Sunday of every month, 8am-12pm

Where: Behind the Newmarket Bowls Club, 202 Ashgrove Avenue, Ashgrove

Fortitude Valley Markets | Our vote for ‘reno-of-the-year’ has to go to Fortitude Valley Markets. Spread across Brunswick Street Mall and Chinatown Mall, the all-new food stalls from some of Brisbane’s best will keep any foodie satisfied, while the beautiful bohemian homewares, vintage fashion pieces, jewellery and curios, all from local designers will satisfy the shopaholics.

Where: Brunswick Street Mall | Fortitude Valley 

When: Every Friday 3pm-12am, Saturday 9am-4pm 5pm-12am, Sunday 9am-3pm

Boundary Street Markets | Fast becoming one of our favourite weekend meeting spots, Boundary Street Markets are our go-to day to night haunt! Find beautiful jewellery stalls, antiques, pop-up clothing stores, original artworks, and a whole lot of atmosphere. (See below for more details on Boundary Street's cool night markets, too)!

When: Every Friday 4:00pm – 10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 10:00pm and Sunday 9:00am – 4:00pm

South Bank Collective Market | If you like your market finds on the unique side, then South Bank Collective is your go-to for one-of-a-kind art, photography, designer fashion and accessories, homewares, and jewellery pieces. Food is plentiful round these parts, and you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Where: Stanley Street Plaza | South Bank

When: Friday 5:00pm – 9:00pm Saturday 10:00am - 9:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Young Designers Market | Showcasing our super talented Brisbane locals, here you’ll find on trend fashions, beautiful artworks, and homewares from the new kids on the block. Where: Little Stanley Street | South Bank

When: First Sunday of every month 10:00am - 4:00pm

Suitcase Rummage | Love to rummage? Then, as the name might suggest, Suitcase rummage is for you. Get into it and you might just find yourself a total bargain and some fabulous unique finds!

Where: Reddacliff Place | Queen Street in Brisbane CBD

When: First and third Sunday of every month 12:00pm – 5:00pm


Night Markets

Love Your Local Twilight Markets | Held twice monthly, Love Your Local Twilight markets bring together some of the best food trucks in Brisbane, so come here with an empty belly and stretchy pants!

Where: Hawthorne Park | Hawthorne Road in Hawthorne 

When: First and third Friday of every month 4:00pm - 8:30pm

Eat Street Markets | Practically a Brisbane institution, Eat Street Markets are a must-do for foodie freaks, offering up every food trend going! Find an endless array of delicious food stalls, from wood fired pizzas, American hot wings, cronuts, Korean BBQ and everything in-between.

Where: Macarthur Avenue, Hamilton

When: Friday 4:00pm – 10:00pm, Saturday 4:00pm – 10:00pm

Boundary Street’s Market Lane Night Markets | Like their epic day markets, Boundary Street’s Night Markets are hawker-style stalls serving up all kinds of food, live entertainment and live music gigs at The Motor Room—oh and a bar too! With pop-up stalls, and an easygoing vibe, this night market is a killer alternative to your regular watering hole.

Flower Market

Brisbane Flower Market | A must-do on the Brisbane market scene, The Brisbane Flower Markets are great for a little snoop around and to get a bargain on your blooms. Get organized and set the alarms though, the good stuff goes fast.

Where: Sherwood Road | Rocklea


When: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday 6:00am - 1:00pm


Food / Produce Markets

Love Your Local 'Off The Green' Coorparoo Market | Not just a great little market because of its proximity to the local bowls club, Love Your Local is a great spot to pick up your weekly shop, but also to get your hands on some of Brisbane’s best food truck fare.

Where: Coorparoo Bowls Club

When: Sunday 6th 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Eat, Bake, Grow Markets | Loved by the locals, Eat, Bake Grow Markets is the spot for fresh, local and free-range produce. Bring a big basket and get shopping!

When: 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, from 7am - 12pm

Where: Mount Cotton State School

Kelvin Grove Village Markets | Snap up the freshest fruit and veg, local meats, and sample delicious street food at the KGV markets. Stuff you face with fresh pastries, and sip on great coffee while you pick up your weekly groceries. Beats Woolies any day.

Where: Musk Street | Kelvin Grove Urban Village

When: Every Saturday 6:00am - 1:00pm

The Gap Farmers Markets | Join in with the locals and get up close and personal with the farmers. Pick up pantry goodies and sweet treats, all your fruit and veg—locally sourced of course— plus superb coffee and brekky too.

Where: Hilder Road State School, The Gap

When: The 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, 6:30am-11:00am

Carseldine Farmers Markets | Fast becoming the northside fave, Carseldine Farmers Markets are big on fresh produce, freshly baked breads, artisan coffee, even fashion and homewares; these markets have the good stuff.

Where: The Old QUT Campus, 532 Beams Road, Carseldine

When: Every Saturday 6am-12pm

Eagle Farm Markets | With a huge selection of fruit, veg, meat, gourmet pastries and deli delights, there’s barely any need for a trip to the supermarket! Enjoy a morning perusing the stalls, sipping on coffees and gorging on freshly baked treats. Yum!

Where: Eagle Farm Racecourse | Lancaster Road in Ascot

Cleveland Village Farmers Markets | Just minutes from the water, find all your fresh groceries, homewares, plus arts and crafts at this cute Brisbane market, then grab a coffee at one of the cafes in town.

Where: Cnr Bloomfield St and Middle St, Cleveland

When: Every Sunday 7am-1pm

Davies Park Market (West End Market) | Here you’ll find a huge choice of local produce, then settle in under the jacaranda trees with a coffee and a sweet treat. A perfect weekend outing.

Nundah Fresh Farmer's Markets | Fresh seafood and meat is in abundance here, so fill up your bags before the early birds get in first! Pick up fruit and veg, freshly baked cakes, pastries and sweet treats.

Where: Nundah Train Station

Urban Producers & Co Market | Pick up fresh fruit and veg, artisan condiments for your pantry, plus a whole host of delicious produce to make your fridge sing.

Where: Redlands Performing Arts Centre | Middle Street, Cleveland 

When: Every Saturday 7:00am- 1:00pm

Northey Street City Farm Organic Market | Organic is the go here, and is one of the best spots to pick up your weekly shop; organic style. If you like to dabble in your home veggie patch, they also have some cracking gardening stalls for all your planting needs.

Moggill Markets | A great atmosphere, and a ripper selection of fresh produce are to be found at this charming Brisbane market.

Where: Brookfield State School | Boscombe Road in Brookfield

When: First and third Saturday of every month 6:30am - 11:00am

Brisbane Rocklea Saturday Fresh Market | One of the oldest markets in Brisbane, these guys show ‘em how it’s done! Get your hands on fresh fruit and veg plus great pastries and coffee to start the day right.

Where: Sherwood Road | Rocklea

When: Every Saturday 6:00am – midday

Produce By The Pier | One of only a handful of sustainable living markets in Brisbane, find the freshest fruit and veg as well as some delicious gourmet food products, great tea and coffee, plus goodies that are kind to the environment.

Where: Broadwater Parklands | Southport

When: Every Saturday 8:00am – 2:00pm

Jan Power’s Farmers Market | Jan Power’s Farmers Markets are top of the list when it comes to fresh produce and delish treats. With four handy locations across the city, find all your fruit and veggies here, meats and seafood, plus locally sourced deli and pantry goods.
