Brisbane’s Best Yoga Studios

Yoga. The stretchy exercise that's slated to cure an assortment of ailments has seen something of a renaissance lately.

No matter what the style—power yoga, hot yoga, Bikram yoga, Ashtanga, aerial yoga, hip-hop yoga (yes, this is actually a thing)—there's nothing like a good yoga session to get rid of stress and align the chakras (if you're in to that sort of thing).

We here in the TUL offices range from devoted yogi through to downward-dog-awkward newbie, and we want to spread the yogic love to the masses. Here are our top seven favourite yoga studios in Brisbane.

Ready, set, limber!

Inna Bliss

East Brisbane

With three beautiful, light and airy yoga studios on the east side of Brisbane (Bulimba, Wynnum and Camp Hill), and heaps of different class times to suit any schedule, Inna Bliss is definitely one of our favourites. Grab a $25 unlimited class pass for your first week to see what takes your flexy fancy. Kids and mums are even catered for at Inna Bliss! Want to find out more about Inna Bliss? Shri Yoga

Housed in a beautiful space in Burnett Lane, Shri offer 7 classes a week with some of Brisbane's most experienced instructors. With an inclusive vibe, this space is a peaceful sanctuary that allows you to experience a range of traditional yoga styles.

Ten Toes Yoga

New Farm

Ten Toes Yoga—in New Farm and Ascot—caters to everyone from beginner, to mums-to-be, and even kids too. With an emphasis on 'flow' yoga, where the movement is connected to breath, the Ten Toes teachers will have you yoga-ing like a pro in no time at all!

Soho Yoga

Fortitude Valley

SoHo Yoga in Fortitude Valley is the perfect escape for Brisbane city dwellers to indulge a spot of zen. With its exposed timber beams and floors, dreamy artworks, sleek white walls and high ceilings, minimalistic greenery and modern Scandi-boho touches, Soho's space is optimised to promote feelings of serenity and calmness as soon as you enter.

New Farm Power Yoga

New Farm

New Farm locals will know that the lithe crew behind New Farm Power Yoga are serious yoga devotees. Their signature Vinyasa Ashtanga will get your heart rate going and those muscles crying out for more. If you are boss (as in really a boss of people, but it works either way) then New Farm Power Yoga provides corporate yoga sessions. Your staff will love you!

Harlow Hot Yoga

Hot yoga is sweeping the nation. Slightly cooler and more free form than Bikram (a set series of poses), hot yoga is an excellent winter exercise. But it's also perfect year round, and our friends at Harlow Hot Yoga in Newstead are certainly doing it right.

Bikram Yoga The Gabba

26 challenging poses done in a specific order. 36 degree heated room. Addictive. Yep, it's Bikram. This particular style is not for the faint-hearted but once you've got it, then you are going to be the leanest, stretchiest kid at the party.

Flight Skool

We all dream of flying right? Flight Skool, took that dream and added yoga. Yay! Okay, maybe it's not real flying, but the yoga is certainly real. And this one is a goodie; less impact than yoga of the earthly kind, and it draws inspiration from dance, Pilates and calisthenics.
